Living Room Conservatory
A living room conservatory is neither a conservatory or an extension, but is the best of both.
The Living Room Conservatory uses the well proven classic roof system at is heart and then adds an engineered steel framing system internally, which is plastered to give a perimeter ceiling all the way round the classic roof to give it the aesthetics of an Orangery. This gives you more ceiling space for lighting, so the room is comfortable day and night.
This is neither a conservatory or an extension. It combines all the benefits of a conservatory in terms of light and space but adds the solidity of an extension, adding a whole new dynamic to the space, giving it a ‘real room’ feel. You could use this room however you choose, as a living or dining space or a family room or playroom.
The Best of Both

That’s why we suggest choosing an insulating glass unit that combines Pilkington Activ™ Blue or Pilkington Activ™ Neutral with a low E glass such as Pilkington ‘K’ Glass™. That way, dual solar control and thermal insulation can help your room maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the year.
